These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Søren Wine website and your purchase of products from us. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or placing an order, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase from us. We may update these Terms from time to time, and the version in effect at the time of your order will apply.
Legal Drinking Age
The sale of alcohol is restricted by law. As a condition of every sale, you represent and warrant that you are of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction — at least 19 years of age in British Columbia — and that any product you purchase is for personal consumption and not for resale. The person accepting delivery must also be of legal drinking age, and proof of age may be required at delivery. We may refuse or cancel any order where we reasonably believe this condition is not met.
Pricing
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes and shipping unless otherwise stated. Taxes, deposits, and shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated and shown at checkout. We make every effort to ensure pricing is accurate, but errors may occur; if we discover a pricing error on an item you have ordered, we will contact you before processing the order.
Order Acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion, including where the product is unavailable, where we suspect fraud, where there has been a pricing or description error, or where legal requirements are not met. A contract of sale is formed only once we confirm and accept your order. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Shipping
We ship only to jurisdictions where the sale and delivery of wine is permitted and only where we are authorized to do so. It is your responsibility to ensure that delivery to your address is lawful. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery, and someone of legal drinking age must be present to accept the shipment.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Søren Wine and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or your purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase.
